Cowboy’s Camp
7 Days/6 Nights
June 13-19, 2010
Welcome to Cowboy Camp! This week long program is an exciting opportunity to truly experience the western way of life. You will spend the week preparing to lead a pack-horse into the mountains and then work with your fellow cowboys to set up a high mountain drop camp. Once your camp is set up you will enjoy your evening under the Rocky Mountain stars which are like no where else!
Cowboy Camp provides both hands on and "classroom" sessions. Remember our classroom is the incredible White River National Forest in Colorado's Rocky Mountains. We will cover the basics of wilderness horsemanship, you will learn how to pack your tent and gear onto pack horses, practice tying the required knots, learn to lead a pack horse, and how to set up and tear down a remote camp. Cooking in the mountains is an art unto itself and you will be ready to help with your wilderness meals. And yes, the food always tastes better after a day in the mountains!
Cowboy Camp is perfect for individuals, families, or groups although we recommend participants are 10 and over. The program includes daily rides into the mountains where you can enjoy the beauty that is Colorado. Some riding experience is beneficial. During the program you will be in your own cabin. Your last night will be in a 4 to 6 person wall tent with cots, heating stove, and all the necessary equipment for a fantastic evening camping in the mountains.
Sign up now for this unique opportunity.

Ladies Roundup
5 Days/4 Nights
September 6-10, 2010
Ladies Roundup will allow you, with a program tailored for women, to experience a remarkable time in the Rockies. We've put together a package you won't want to miss. After you've settled in to your cabin, we'll review the activities and introduce you to your horse for the week. You'll have the opportunity to help our head wrangler care for your horse while you're with us.
Rides during Ladies Roundup are through incredible mountain valleys, meadows, and aspen groves as the leaves begin to turn. Ride twice a day if you like. The food will be unique and we'll have a wine tasting one evening to sample wines from Colorado vineyards just 50 miles from the ranch.
Your toughest decision during Ladies Roundup will be between an afternoon ride, a massage, fly-fishing lessons, hiking, or other unique possibilities. We're also working on a few surprises for the week -- so check back for further details.
So tell a friend or come with a group, but make your reservations today. Come share all that is for ladies at Coulter Lake Guest Ranch.
