A winter wonderland to enjoy...

Coulter Lake is nestled deep in the White River National Forest surrounded by scenery unchanged since Indian times. At 8100 feet above sea level the ranch offers a fantastic setting for winter activities.

Let it snow...

Activities make for a true family adventure. Everyone can enjoy sledding, ice-skating, cross country skiing, and snowmobiling. There is always the ever-dangerous snowball fights or the warmth of the lodge while enjoying a board game, great book, or just a cup of hot chocolate.

During winter season you'll park three miles from the ranch at Huffman's Gulch Campground. You're then shuttled to the ranch via snowmobiles, making for an incredible commute.

You can park your snowmobile right outside your cabin. Hundreds of open parks and meadows await you with easy access to the Flattops and Coulter Mesa. If you are simply enjoying a day snowmobiling be sure to stop for a warm lunch.

Take the high trail for vistas abounding in all directions with miles of groomed snowmobile trails extending up to 11,000 ft. It's a "top of the world" experience.

No snowmobile? No problem. We will meet you at the trail head and transport you to the ranch where we can take you on a guided snowmobile tour.
