Coulter Lake is a small, intimate and rustic ranch. This means no cell phones or e-mail, the perfect setting to unwind from life’s daily stress.

Six cabins are scattered among the aspen trees within an easy walk of our Lodge. Two cabins are directly next to the lake.

The four larger cabins can accommodate from four to ten people. Of these cabins, three have two bedrooms, a living room, fireplace and bath. The fourth cabin has three bedrooms, a living room and two baths.

The other cabins have one room with both king and queen sized beds available and bathrooms.

All cabins have a porch or deck with chairs to relax and enjoy the view. All buildings are non-smoking, but we do provide a smoking area for each cabin.

Outdoor life is a terrific appetite booster…

At mealtime, everyone gathers at the Lodge for great home cooked meals. Kids typically eat lunch and dinner ahead of the adults. You’ll enjoy our hearty meals that include barbeque beef, chicken, pasta, trout, pork ribs, juicy steaks, and other tempting fare. There are always great rolls, cookies, and desserts with all our meals.

Made to order breakfasts are eaten with your family. We tailor our menu to appeal to kids and adults. If you have any special dietary needs, let us know ahead of time and we’ll handle them accordingly.

In touch with nature…

One of the great aspects of Coulter Lake is we are remote. With no cell phone service or e-mail, guests can be reached any time via the ranch phone. Guests can use the lodge phone with a phone or credit card. Oh yes, there are no TV’s in the lodge or the cabins, it’s quite refreshing!

Coulter Lake uses solar panels and hydropower to generate most of our electricity. Propane generators back-up our electrical system. Our guests are encouraged to conserve electricity and water, which helps us sustain our environment.
